Owning the Super Bowl

If I told you that this project wasn’t painful… well I would be lying. It was. Very. If I told you that on it I worked with some of the smartest people I ever have in my career, and made life long friends, which made it all worth it... It would most certainly be the truth. Sappy, but true.

Chevy Game Time was a live second-screen experience. We created an app that would interact with the Super Bowl broadcast and our commercials in real time. It’s designed to hijack viewers’ attention during competitors’ ads and to give people a reason to engage with Chevy throughout the entire game, on multiple screens. We were able to create an experience that was truly integrated across multiple platforms resulting in over 21 million questions answered, over 700,000 active users, the featured app in iTunes and Android Market, as well as reaching top 10 apps in iTunes.
